Glengoyne 35 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
About Glengoyne 35 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Glengoyne Single Malt Whisky is produced exclusively from Golden Promise barley. Golden Promise is an early-maturing spring barley that has a depth of flavor ideal for single malts. While it was popular in the production of whisky for many years, it gave way to cheaper barely that was higher in yield but lower in quality. Today, Glengoyne, along with The Macallan, is one of only two distilleries remaining in Scotland that continues to use Golden Promise barley.Once the Golden Promise barley has been air-dried, it is milled and mashed before being fermented for 56 hours in washbacks crafted from pine. Following fermentation, the wash is distilled through Glengoyne's copper-pot wash still and then again through its two copper-pot spirit stills, working in tandem (whisky is distilled more slowly at Glengoyne than at any other distillery in Scotland). The copper stills remove any remaining sulphur in the wash, and produce the sweet, concentrated flavors that define Glengoyne Scotch Whisky.
Distilled in the 1970’s this impeccably aged whisky is 35 years in the making. This is a complex malt full of tropical intensity rich licorice and dark chocolate finish. This is an exceptionally rare spirit with only 500 bottles available in the world. Each hand-blown decanter is engraved, numbered, and collared in gold with a crystal stopper. Housed in a handcrafted bespoke, solid oak gull-wing box.

About Glengoyne
Situated in a wooded valley in the Highlands region of Scotland, Glengoyne Distillery was founded by George Campbell and has been producing single malt whisky continuously since 1833. The distillery, which takes its name from "Glen Guin" or Glen of the Wild Geese, is situated directly atop the Highlands Line — the line that divides the Highlands and Lowlands regions of Scotland. As a result, while Glengoyne Single Malt Scotch Whisky is dis tilled in the Highlands region, it is matured in the Lowlands region, despite the fact that the distillery's stillhouse and maturation warehouses are across the street from each other.About Scotch
Scotch is the most popular whisky in the world and is considered the king of them all! There are five whisky regions in Scotland (six if you count the not officially recognized Islands), and each of them produces spirits with unique properties and distinct tasting notes. (The type of grain used determents the type of the scotch.)
Malt whisky is made of malted barley, and grain whisky uses other grains like corn or wheat. Most of the time, a whisky is blended from different distilleries hence the name blended scotch, but if a malt whisky is produced in a single distillery, we get something extraordinary called a single malt.

About Glenmorangie
In 1738, a brewery was built upon Morangie Farm in the Highlands region of Scotland. A century later, William Matheson acquired the farm and equipped the Morangie brewery with two stills that he purchased second-hand, and renamed the brewery-converted-distillery Glenmorangie.Glenmorangie Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made using malted barley, which is mashed and fermented with water sourced from the Tarlogie Spring. The water produced from the spring, which spends nearly a century underground being filtered through layers of limestone before it is extracted, is unusually rich in minerals. In the 1980s, when development in the area threatened the spring's water quality, Glenmorangie purchased 600 acres of land around and including the spring in order to ensure consistent water quality and adequate supply.
After the barley has been fermented, the wash is twice distilled through Glenmorangie's copper-pot stills by a team of 16 distillers known as the Sixteen Men of Tain. Glenmorangie's stills are equipped with relatively small boiler pots, which increases the exposure of the whisky to the copper, resulting in a more pure flavor. In addition, the stills are nearly seventeen feet tall — the tallest of any distillery in Scotland — and as a result, produce a lighter, more refined whisky.

Glenmorangie Ealanta 19 Year Old Single Malt Scotch
About Glenmorangie Ealanta 19 Year Old Single Malt Scotch
Following distillation, Glenmorangie Ealanta Single Malt Whisky was aged for 19 years in heavily toasted virgin oak casks. "Toasting just gives an altogether more subtle taste experience," says Dr. Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie's Master of Whisky creation. Lumsden, who holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry (he wrote his dissertation on yeast physiology) and is the only person in the world to have been honored with Whisky Advocate's "Industry Leader of the Year" award three times, is one of the most respected figures in the Scotch whisky industry. "Charred oak gives a large amount of flavor really quickly and while it may work beautifully for the oily, gutsy spirits distilled in Kentucky and Tennessee, it's not ideally suited for our rather refined and delicate Scottish spirit." As a result, Lumsden aged Ealanta exclusively in casks that were coopered from slow growth oak after being air-seasoned for just one year, as opposed to the traditional 18 to 24 months. After the whisky was poured into the heavily-toasted casks, it was allowed to mature in Warehouse 3, one of Glenmorangie's dunnage-style warehouses, which is equipped with stone walls and damp floors. "Rather than driving the extractives out of the wood, which you would get in a typical Kentucky heated warehouse, this allows the flavors in the wood to be coaxed out very gently, and it develops a lot of complexity," says Lumsden.
Following its 19-year beauty rest, Glenmorangie Ealanta Single Malt Whisky was non-chill filtered and bottled in its natural color at 92 proof.
Glenmorangie Ealanta was named the 2014 World Whisky of the Year by Jim Murray's Whisky Bible, with a score of 97.5 points — the highest score ever. Only a select number of bottles were made for the Private Edition collection.

Glenmorangie Pride 1978 Single Malt Scotch Whisky
About Glenmorangie Pride 1978 Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In 1978, Glenmorangie, a world-renowned distillery located in the Highlands region of Scotland, distilled and laid down for maturation a single malt whisky in its finest first-fill bourbon casks. The whisky spent 19 years aging in those previous oak casks before Dr. Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie’s Master of Whisky Creation, noticed the superb character that had developed, and had a radical idea to further enhance and transform the whisky.Rather than bottle the whisky shortly thereafter, Lumsden decided to age the whisky in the ex-Bordeaux casks for an incredible 15 years, the longest-ever period a Glenmorangie whisky has undergone additional maturation. "The wine barrels I used for the extra maturation were very rare, very special, and I wanted to try to get the very best out of them — and that’s ended up resulting in Pride 1978," says Lumsden. Bottled in 2012, 34 years after the whisky was first distilled, Glenmorangie Pride 1978 is the rarest expression released by the distillery to date.
Glenmorangie Pride 1978 is encased in a Baccarat Crystal decanter designed by Laurence Brabant and a custom gift case containing specially-commissioned artwork by Idris Khan, who was also born in 1978.
Due to the extremely limited number of casks used in the aging process, only 700 bottles of this whisky have ever been made, and only a handful were allocated to the United States. Pick up this rare treasure today!

About Godet
It was way back in 1588 that a Dutch merchant started his salt & wine business in La Rochelle, a harbor town in Western France. His name was Bonaventure Godet and he is counted among the first to start distilling his wine in order to minimize the cost of transportation, receiving the right to do so from Henry IV of France. La Rochelle is where the Arab distillation techniques were first used with locally-produced wine, so it is considered the birthplace of cognac.First known as "Dutch burnt wine" or "brandjwine", it was the innovative Dutch traders and salt merchants such as Godet that were blazing a trail in cognac production. The business kept growing, so in 1782 Gédéon Louis Godet registered the cognac brand. Today, Godet Freres Cognac is a family-owned operation that is still based in the harbor and is run by the 15th generation of Godets with Jean Edouard Godet serving as Master Blender. Godet Cognac is known for its "floral nose, fruity palate, and a well-balanced length" and the uniqueness that aging the spirit by the Atlantic Ocean brings. < div class="brand-link"> Explore all Godet bottles >>
About Cognac
Cognac is a type of brandy produced in the Cognac region of France.
Because the French take it very seriously, there are numerous rules cognac makers have to follow not to fall “short” into the brandy category.
The white wine from the specific grapes (Ugni blanc) has to be doubly distilled in a copper pot still before being aged for at least two years in oak casks from which the wood can only come from two specific forests in France (Limousin or Tronçais).
Depending on the age, there are three types of cognac, the youngest V.S. (Very Special), V.S.O.P. (Very Superior Old Pale), and the X.O. (Extra Old)

About Gordon & MacPhail
Situated in the Speyside region of Scotland, Glenburgie Distillery (pronounced glen-burg-ee) sits just off the main Aberdeen-Inverness road between the burghs of Forres and Elgin. The distillery was founded in 1810 by William Paul, who originally named it Kilnflat. In 1878, however, the distillery changed hands and was renamed Glenburgie. The distillery's unique location and water source — it is surrounded by temperate and fertile terrain and sources water from local springs on nearby Burghie Hill — contribute to the fruity, floral whisky that Glenburgie produces. In 1935, the distillery was acquired by Hiram Walker; since then, the whisky produced at Glenburgie has been an essential component in Ballantine's Whisky. As a result, there are few official bottlings of Glenburgie Single Malt Whiskey and the chance to obtain one is exceedingly rare.
Founded in 1895, Gordon & MacPhail is a family-owned, independent bottler of Scotch whisky. The company was founded by James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail, who opened "in New, Centrical, and Commodious Premises, No's 38 and 40 South Street... a Family Grocers, Tea, Wine & Spirit Merchant,"reported the Elgin Courant on May 24, 1895. Among the company's first employees was John Urquhart, a fifteen year-old apprentice who helped James Gordon select and purchase casks of whisky to bottle and sell at the store. When MacPhail retired in March 1915, Urquhart became a partner in the business, and when Gordon died suddenly just two weeks later, Urquhart became the senior partner. By 1950, Gordon & MacPhail held one of the largest inventories of bottled m alt whiskies in the entire world, many of which were not available anywhere else.

About Goslings
The story of Goslings Rum is a serendipitous one, dating as far back as 1806, when James Gosling ventured out to sea at the request of his father. Gosling was heading towards Virginia, equipped with wines and spirits worth 10,000 pounds Sterling. 91 days into the trip the charter on the ship Mercury ran out, forcing Gosling to settle in Bermuda. Eventually he decided to open a wine and spirits shop on the island, the rest is history.Upon his return to England in 1824 James Gosling opened a shop with his brother Ambrose, which has been in the Gosling family ever since. Their first rum, the Black Seal, was produced nearly half a century later in 1863. Produced in Bermuda, the Black Seal is synonymous with the island. Today, the family business is in the 7th generation of Goslings, who continue to lead company, as the largest exporter of any Bermuda made product. Goslings is also the only company that blends and bottles on the island.
Over a century and a half later, the family’s patriarch Malcolm Gosling made the decision to reveal the secrets of their family’s successful Caribbean elixir. Goslings Family Reserve Rum is crafted from the same blend of ingredients as their flagship Black Seal Rum. The differentiating factor is the increased amount of time the rum spends inside of the ex-bourbon oak barrels, giving it more complexity and overall depth.
About Rum
Rum history allegedly started in the Carribiens in the 17th century when they started to ferment and distill molasses, a byproduct of sugar production. Most of the Rum is aged in oak or ex-wine casks, giving its color and flavor.
We distinguish between 4 different Rum categories, where white or unaged rum is mainly used in cocktails, while dark, spiced, and añejo (aged) rum are mostly enjoyed neat.

Today, the family business is in the 7th genera tion of Goslings, who continue to lead company, as the largest exporter of any Bermuda made product.

There are two main representatives of the American whiskey family, bourbon, and rye, but some other spirits don't fall into those two strictly regulated categories.
There's equally strictly regulated American single malt, made from 100% malted barley, Tennessee whiskey, essentially bourbon filtered through maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels.
And then there's moonshine, a high proof (150- 170 proof) distilled spirit mainly made out of corn which gained popularity during the prohibition.

Hennessy XO x Julien Colombier Cognac
About Hennessy XO x Julien Colombier Cognac
The long and sophisticated process of making this premium cognac stars with the grapes. Hennessy uses the late-maturing variety Ugni blanc, which provides just the right balance between high acidity and low alcohol content for creating well-balanced eaux-de-vie (water of life). It takes approximately 12 kg of grapes to obtain one liter of eau-de-vie. Pressing the grapes produces 9 liters of wine, which is first distilled to make 3 liters of brouillis, and for the second time to make one liter of pure eau-de-vie. These eaux-de-vie are then put in French oak barrels and stored in special, carefully monitored cellars. Every day, the Hennessey tasting committee meets to select or reject eaux-de-vie, and the selected barrels are then sampled annually throughout maturation. This process is steered by Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, who became Hennessy’s eighth-generation master blender from the same family after having learned the secrets of the craft from his uncle, Yann Fillioux. The creation of premium cognac does not end at aging. The Master Blender and the Tasting Committee meticulously select the eaux-de-vie for blending, consistently replicating perfection and taste. At the end of 2021, Hennessy partnered with French artist Julien Colombier, releasing 3 limited-edition bottles in celebration of the holiday spirit: a VS, VSOP, and XO. The self-taught artist contributed the design of the bottles, inspired by nature and art deco. Hennessy X.O (X.O stands for extra old) was created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy for his circle of friends. It was the first cognac to be labeled extra old. About 100 different eaux-de-vie are blended to create this elegant and complex cognac that is presented here with stunning, limited-edition artwork.

About Hibiki
In February 1899, Shinjiro Torii opened a store in Osaka, Japan, that traded in imported wines. Within a decade, Torii began producing his own sweet grape wine called Akadama Port Wine, which became wildly popular throughout the country. In 1923, Torri — fascinated by whisky his entire life — decided to expand his business and began constructing the Yamazaki Distillery, Japan's first-ever whisky distillery.Although inspired by traditional Scottish distilleries, Torii envisioned a uniquely Japanese approach to whisky and chose a location for his distillery that offered a climate and terrain utterly different from those of Scotland. Nestled on the periphery of Kyoto, Yamazaki Distillery is situated at the confluence of three rivers — the Katsura, Uji, and Kizu — that provide the warm, damp environment ideal for the production and maturation of whisky.
Fifty years after the construction of Yamazaki Distillery, Keizo Saji inherited his father's vision and constructed Suntory's second distillery. Situated amidst the deep forests of Mount Kaikomagatake in Japan's southern Alps, the Hakushu Distillery enjoys a unique microcl imate as a result of being surrounded by nearly 6,000 varieties of plants and thousand-year-old granite rocks.
