About Barrell Craft Spirits 15 Year Old Bourbon 2018 Edition

A former longtime home brewer Joe Beatrice founded Barrel Craft Spirits in 2013 in Kentucky to share his passion for unique, high-quality spirits with the world. Famous for blending and sourcing all their premium spirits, BCS rum, whiskey, rye and bourbon have all garnered international critical acclaim. BCS supports the time-honored traditions of distilling, choosing exceptional spirits from all over the world and blending them in high-quality casks to bring out every single ingredient. No coloring, flavoring or water are added.

With their unique approach to spirit-making, they succeeded in creating blends that are greater than the sum of their parts and their cask-strength, small batch and single barrel expressions have won the most prestigious awards. Their blended bourbon carved the path for the rise of the blended whiskey when it was awarded Double Gold at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Barrel Craft Spirits 15 Year Old Bourbon Batch 001 is a splendid blend of bourbons distilled and aged in new charred American oak in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee, at least 15 years, it was then crafted and bottled in Kentucky at cask strength of 105.1 proof. With a mash bill consisting of corn, rye and malted barley, the nose is introduced with sweet aromas of brown sugar and caramel. The palate is smooth and slightly smoky on the finish. A luxurious expression for all whiskey aficionados.

Benromach 25 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

About Benromach 25 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Benromach 25 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky was crafted by the previous owners of the distillery. The whisky was made exclusively from malted barley, which was milled and mashed before being fermented in the distillery's wooden washbacks (the washbacks, which are the same washbacks Gordon & MacPhail continue to use, are made of European Larch). While wooden washbacks are more expensive and difficult to maintain as compared to stainless steel washbacks, they absorb a portion of the heat generated during fermentation, and thus allow for a more elegant and refined whisky. Following fermentation, the whisky was aged for a quarter century in refill American hogshead casks. As a result of its 25-year beautyrest, the whisky has an aroma of butterscotch and fruit (particularly pears, mango and papaya). The aroma gives way to notes of orange marmalade, fruit compote and honeyed oak on the palate, with hints of toffee and simmering spices on the finish. Benromach 25 Year Old earned a score of 92 points from Whisky Intelligence. Pick up a bottle today!

About Benromach

Situated on the outskirts of the ancient Royal Borough of Forres, Benromach Distillery was founded in 1898 by Duncan McCallum, a former distiller at the Glen Nevis Distillery in Campbeltown, and FW Brickman, a former spirits broker from Edinburgh. After just two short years of operation, McCallum and Brickman were forced to close the doors to Benromach Distillery and since then, the distillery has changed hands a number of times. In 1993, malt whisky specialists Gordon & MacPhail acquired the distillery and began refurbishing it. The experts at Gordon & MacPhail took five years to re-equip the distillery with two new stills and secure the water rights to Champelton Springs in Romach Hills. On October 15, 1998, Benromach Di stillery was officially reopened by Prince Charles of Wales.

About Scotch

Scotch is the most popular whisky in the world and is considered the king of them all! There are five whisky regions in Scotland (six if you count the not officially recognized Islands), and each of them produces spirits with unique properties and distinct tasting notes. (The type of grain used determents the type of the scotch.)   Malt whisky is made of malted barley, and grain whisky uses other grains like corn or wheat. Most of the time, a whisky is blended from different distilleries hence the name blended scotch, but if a malt whisky is produced in a single distillery, we get something extraordinary called a single malt.   Check out our impressive selection of scotch whiskies, find your new favorite in the Top 10 scotch whiskies, or explore our treasury of rare & hard to find scotch whiskies.

About Bhakta Spirits

Raj Peter Bhakta is many things: an entrepreneur, a political candidate, even a reality show contestant. He founded WhistlePig in 2007, eventually selling it in 2019. Then, he set his sights on a fresh project, embarking on a quest to find something rare and exquisite ― a venture that would shake up the spirits industry. In France, he discovered a cellar, filled with armagnacs that were distilled between 1868 and 1970. He envisioned an ancient brandy, tailored to the tastes of whiskey lovers. Thus, Bhakta 50 was born.

About Black Button Single Barrel Apple Brandy Finished Bourbon

Black Button Apple Brandy Finished Bourbon comes from their reserves. It's a single-barrel release. The spirit spent 2 years in its American white oak cask (no. 2073) before being transferred into a freshly harvested apple brandy barrel, where it spent another 2 and a half years. This results in a fruity 119-proof expression that's ― naturally ― available in very limited quantity.

About Black Button

In 2012, Jason Barrett became the head distiller and founder of Black Button Distilling – at only 24 years old. Coming from a family of the finest men's suit buttons makers, worn by "Presidents, Popes, Kings, and Businessmen the world over", Barret worked in his grandfather’s factory when he was younger, but soon realized he wanted to carve out his own path.

After graduating, Barrett returned to his hometown of Rochester, New York, to follow his passion – make whiskey and open a craft distillery, the first in Rochester since Prohibition times. Named Black Button because of a family inside joke – Barret is color blind and the family always joked that they’d need to produce only black buttons if we were to take over the family business – every small batch of Black Button spirits is made from local NY grains with over 90% of ingredients grown or produced in New York State. Everything from corn, wheat, rye, and barley to dairy cream and apple cider comes from family farms in New York State to s upport local and sustainable agriculture. They even grow their own juniper for Black Button gin at the Black Button Farm in South Bristol. Besides whiskey and gin, Black Button’s wide range includes vodka, moonshine, and liqueur.

About Black Tot

Founded by Sukhinder Singh, Black Tot was inspired by a Royal Navy tradition that started in the 1600s and lasted until 1970. During that period, a tot of rum was distributed daily to the sailors, instilling them with the neccessary courage to fight battles. Si ngh tracked down and sampled examples of original blends of Caribbean Rums from collectors and had them analyzed. This is how the story Black Tot was born. Singh modeled their flagship rum after the original navy dram, honoring the historic drink and creating a new, modern spirit.

About Blanton's Char. 04 Special Release 2022 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Blanton’s spirits have a history befitting a good bourbon. It all started with Colonel Blanton, who was the president of the Blanton’s distillery until 1952. Then one lad named Elmer T. Lee started working as a clerk and became a Master Distiller. Right before his retirement in 1985, Elmer reflected on the start of his career when working under Albert Blanton. He remembered that Blanton entertained elite guests by cherry-picking ‘honey barrels’ from the central part of Warehouse H, where they decided to bottle bourbon one cask at a time. Mr. T. Lee committed to naming his new bourbon ‘Blanton’s Single Barrel’ in honor of Blanton’s ancient tradition. And along came Blanton’s Char. 04 Special Release 2022 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey—a bit of a dark horse. It represents a limited collection of exquisitely selected barrels, including a custom-made label and a special gift box that pays homage to the wood charring process. It made its first guest appearance in Greece in 2022. Allegedly, only four barrels were created. This impressive expression clocks in at 46.5% ABV and features cereal grape and single barrel aromas, followed by wood char and citrusy flavors, rounding off with a spicy cinnamon finish. If you want to treat your taste buds with something super selective, here’s your chance.

About Blanton's

In the winter of 1881, Albert Bacon Blanton was born on a farm situated just outside of Frankfort, Kentucky. At the age of 16, Blanton began working at the Old Fire Copper Distillery (often abbreviated O.F.C. Distillery) as an office boy. Over the next few yea rs, Blanton reportedly worked in every department at the distillery. By the age of 20, he was appointed the superintendent of O.F.C, and worked there until his retirement in 1952.

Much like his mentor, E.H. Taylor, Blanton was a traditional bourbon aristocrat, wedded to the production of Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. Blanton identified a certain section of Warehouse H at his distillery, which he believed was the best for aging bourbon, and would personally select individual barrels from the section to bottle for his own private reserve.

The finish is long and pleasantly warming with a balance of fruit, spice, and hints of nuttiness.
